Prof. Yu Tian is an associate professor at school of transportation engineering, Tongji University, China, and deputy director of Key Laboratory of Infrastructure Durability and Operation Safety in Airfield of CAAC. Prof. Tian received his B.Sc degree in civil engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, his MS. and Ph.D. degrees in civil engineering from Purdue University. Prof. Tian’s research focuses on airfield airworthiness evaluation. Prof. Tian is an inventor of 8 patents, and also awardee of Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Award，China Air Transport Association Science and Technology Award.
